Wow, so here we are. I finally have the keyboard I was looking for so I can get some writing done on my iPad — without the unpleasant sensation of typing on a pizza box, of course. Sadly, the experience I had with my previous generation Smart Keyboard for the iPad Pro left much to be desired.
Don't get me wrong, I had a number of great experiences with that keyboard; mainly I would get drunk and write truly awful poetry. Those really were the days, or I'd probably say as much if I could actually remember them.
I've been meaning to get into making new content on a more regular basis. Something I typically say 2-3 posts before unknowingly inserting my head into my ass and completely losing sight of what I had originally planned to do.
First things first, my posts aren't all going to be long. I'm not outright forbidding myself from writing a 2000 word article on which writing app I feel the best using to accomplish nothing at all, I'm just saying I'm not going to require everything I make to hit a predetermined and entirely arbitrary word count.
Anyway, this was typed up on that new nice keyboard. I hope it brings whoever is reading this some decent content.
Hugs and whatever,
Dylan
For those, like me, who are terminally curious about the writing setup I'm referring to above, I've included this handy picture of the same setup I'm using. It's a combo I first stole from Jason Snell of Six Colors, and was more encouraged to steal from Merlin Mann of the Internet. If you're into good content, check them out.
Dylan steals all his podcast bits from people he likes, why not workstations too?
